CO2 laser tube refill (regas) – We measure your source, refill it with the original gas mixture and measure it again. You receive a report with the values before and after. About the refill
1:1 exchange from stock – When production cannot stop, we send a tested, equivalent source, within 24 hours if it is in stock. Your old source comes back to us as part of the exchange.

How an order from the UK works
- Enquiry – Send us the manufacturer, model, rated power and a photo of the rating plate. We reply within 24 hours on working days.
- Shipping – Pack the source securely and send it to Rutesheim. Packaging material is available on request. For a refill, the source can travel as a temporary export for repair (outward processing). How to pack and ship
- Measurement and fixed price – We measure the source on arrival and give you a fixed price. Nothing happens without your approval. If a source cannot be refilled, you are not charged for a refill and we propose a replacement.
- Refill and return – Refill in 3 to 7 working days, second measurement, insured return shipment to the UK.

Refill instead of replace
Why a new tube is usually the expensive answer
CO2 lasers lose power because the gas mixture wears out, not because the glass does. As long as the source is gas-tight and the electrodes are sound, a refill takes it back to its original output.

- Cracked tube or worn-out electrodes? We say so, and you don't pay for a refill that wouldn't last

Buy parts and refurbished lasers straight from the shop
Our online shop runs on our main website, laser-store24.de. It has two sections, wear parts and refurbished laser machines, with checkout by PayPal or bank transfer. Everything is dispatched from the workshop that refills the sources.

Frequently asked questions from the UK
Do I have to pay VAT or duty?
Our invoice to the UK carries no German VAT because the delivery is an export. UK import VAT and customs clearance are handled through the courier when the source comes back in.
How long will my machine be out of action?
For a refill, 3 to 7 working days plus transit and customs. With an exchange source from stock, only the shipping time.
Is a refill worth it, or should I buy new?
For RF metal sources, a refill is usually 30 to 50 % cheaper than a new source. With inexpensive glass tubes, buying new can make more sense – we tell you honestly after measuring.
