How do we obtain your data?

Partly because you give it to us yourself: this is the information you enter in our contact form or send us by email or phone.

In addition, some technical data is recorded automatically as soon as you open a page, for example your browser type, operating system and the time of your visit.

What do we use it for?

Some of it is needed only to display this website correctly and securely. The rest is used to deal with your enquiry. We do not sell any data, and we do not pass it on for advertising purposes.

What rights do you have?

You can ask us at any time, free of charge, what data we hold about you, where it came from and who it has been passed to. You can ask for it to be corrected, restricted or erased, and you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. A simple message to the address above is enough.

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the applicable German legislation and this privacy policy.

Please note that data transmitted over the internet, for example when communicating by email, may be subject to security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

We process your data on the basis of Article 6(1) GDPR:

• point (a): your consent, for example when you send the contact form or choose to display the map;
• point (b): performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract, for example when you request a quote;
• point (f): our legitimate interest in providing this website in a technically error-free and secure way.

Withdrawing your consent

Many processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time; an informal email is sufficient. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Right to object

Where data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR). We will then stop the processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for it.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live. The authority responsible for our business is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart, baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de).

We hereby object to the use of the contact details published in our legal notice for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited promotional information being sent.

Data collected on this website

Cookies

This website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. Until you have given your consent, no cookie is set and no request is sent to a third-party service. There are only two exceptions, and they only apply after you have made your choice: a technical cookie called cookieConsentBar, which remembers your choice, and, if you have agreed, the cookies of the Matomo visitor statistics described below. Your choice is also stored locally in your browser, as described under "Consent management".

You can set your browser to notify you when cookies are set, to allow cookies only case by case, to reject them in general or to delete them automatically when you close the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Server log files

The hosting provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in log files that your browser transmits automatically. This comprises:

• operating system used,
• referrer URL,
• host name of the accessing computer,
• time of the request,
• IP address.

This data is not combined with other data sources. It is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: we have a legitimate interest in this website being displayed without errors and being kept secure. Images, fonts and other files on this website are delivered by the technical infrastructure of our hosting provider, which acts on our behalf as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR.

Contact form

If you send us an enquiry using the contact form, the details you enter, including your contact details, are stored by us in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where your enquiry relates to the conclusion of a contract, on point (b) of the same article. You can withdraw your consent at any time with a simple email.

The data you enter in the form stays with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent, or the purpose for storing it no longer applies, for example once your enquiry has been dealt with. Statutory retention obligations, in particular under tax and commercial law, remain unaffected.

Protecting the form against automated submissions

So that our contact form is not flooded with advertising by automated programs, we ask you to type the characters shown in a small image before sending. The image is generated by our hosting provider’s server; no connection to third parties is made. Only the details that arise anyway when the page is opened, and your entry in the puzzle field, are processed for this purpose.

The basis is our legitimate interest in a working contact channel protected against misuse, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Enquiries by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry, including all personal data arising from it, is stored and processed by us solely for the purpose of dealing with your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

Customer and contract data

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent necessary to establish, carry out or amend a contractual relationship. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Customer data is deleted once the order has been completed or the business relationship has ended. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Visitor statistics

Matomo

This website uses Matomo, an open-source web analytics service. Matomo stores information about the use of this website on the servers of our hosting provider; the data is not passed on to third parties and is not used for advertising. Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored, so the analysis cannot be traced back to you.

Matomo is only loaded once you have given your consent. Until then, the tracking script stays blocked: no request is sent to the service and no cookie is set. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for storing information on your device, § 25(1) of the German TDDDG (Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).

You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future via the Cookie & consent settings link in the footer. Matomo also respects your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.
