CO2 laser servicing and repair, in our workshop or on your site

Laser machines rarely fail overnight. They drift: the beam wanders, the optics get dirty, and a cut that took one pass starts taking two. A proper service puts the machine back where it started, and we can do it at your premises anywhere in Europe.

Prevention

A service costs less than the breakdown it prevents

Most of the repairs we see would have cost a tenth as much if the machine had been serviced regularly. A dirty mirror eventually burns, a burnt lens throws the cut off, and the tube works harder to make up for it, so it wears out sooner.

Service checklist

What gets checked on every visit

Cooling and extraction

Coolant flow and temperature, the state of the coolant, hoses and fittings, extraction and filters. A poorly cooled tube has a shorter life.

Beam path and optics

Alignment over the full travel, mirrors and lens cleaned, surfaces inspected. Pitted optics get replaced, not polished.

Motion system

Belts, rollers, guides and play in the axes. An axis with play shows up first in the corners of your cuts.

How a service visit is charged

No mystery package prices. You pay for the time spent on your machine, and you know before the visit how that time is counted.

€97.95 excl. VAT call-out charge, charged once per on-site visit
Replacement parts priced separately and agreed with you before they are fitted

If you'd rather not think about it every year, take out a service plan, for example an annual inspection booked well in advance. Tell us how many machines you run and what they are used for, and we'll price the plan.

Fault finding

Symptoms we see week in, week out

Tell us what the machine does, not what you think is wrong with it. Half the "dead tubes" we hear about turn out to be optics or a power supply.
