Signs your Trotec laser tube needs a regas

RF CO2 tubes lose power as the gas ages and operating hours build up. You notice paler engravings, longer cutting times and inconsistent results. A regas brings the system back to its rated power – for much less than a new RF source.

What our laser tube regas includes

  • Refill of the RF CO2 tube to rated power (model-dependent)
  • Renewal of the laser gas and leak test
  • Resonator check and alignment
  • Test of the RF power electronics
  • Cleaning and testing of the optical components
  • Power measurement before and after, with test report

Optional: repair or replacement of power electronics; replacement and alignment of mirrors, optics and beam path; delivery and installation of the source; on-site training, commissioning and application support.

The service covers RF tubes only. For DC glass tubes we offer separate solutions.

How a Trotec laser tube refill works

  • 1. Enquire: send your machine model and what you have noticed.
  • 2. Quote: you receive our offer for the regas.
  • 3. Ship or swap: send us your tube – or order an exchange source from stock to avoid downtime.
  • 4. Regas and test: new gas, alignment, electronics check and power measurement in our workshop.
  • 5. Back to work: the source returns with its test report.

Refill or a new RF source?

A regas is usually far cheaper than a new RF CO2 source, the power is documented, and reusing your existing tube is the more sustainable option. Laser-Store24 has been servicing laser machines from its own workshop since 2018 – see also laser machine maintenance and repair.

Trotec laser tube refill for UK customers

  • Exchange source: exported from Germany without German VAT; UK import VAT and customs clearance are handled by the courier.
  • EU businesses: no German VAT with a valid VAT ID (reverse charge).

Packing tips: shipping and packaging. All brands: CO2 laser tube refill.
